“We recently enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Tregasso Barn with friends and family. We all had a fabulous time together staying in this beautiful house which is set in a stunning location. Our young daughter loved the extensive gardens and the nearby beaches which are just a short walk from the house, especially the one with a cave which really captured her imagination. We also had a lovely afternoon at the nearby seal sanctuary. We couldn’t recommend this place enough for a relaxing family staycation.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous house and can’t wait to go back. We stayed with our 2-year-old and some friends and their children. The house itself has so much character and was decorated and furnished to a really high standard with everything you could need; it really is a home away from home. It’s worth noting that there is a dedicated office space, so we were able to keep up with work whilst enjoying relative peace and quiet from the kids. The grounds are also beautiful and it’s only a short walk down the hill to nice little beach and access to the SW Coast Path. You do need a car, given the location, but it’s not too far from local amenities and a wide range of attractions. Highly recommended!”

“We visited Tregasso Barn in August 2023. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. The barn has been beautifully renovated with tasteful and practical features and furniture. It was clean, tidy, spacious, comfortable and relaxing. I would certainly stay there again with my family and friends. You can walk to a little beach within a few minutes, the location is quiet and private, the grounds are extensive and there are nice pubs and attractions within a short drive/boat journey and walk.”

“We stayed at Tregasso Barn with several other family friends and their children. Such a pretty property that wows as soon as you drive through the gates. Once inside, the rooms do not disappoint – gorgeously decorated and well appointed throughout. As an avid cook, I was thrilled that the kitchen is modern and filled with everything you need, including 2 dishwashers!! The beautiful grounds are vast and our two dogs had a fantastic time roaming around (whilst we were reassured that they and the children were safe and contained). Gillan Cove is a very short walk down what felt like your own private track. A perfect family escape, both relaxing and rather luxurious too! We will definitely be returning.”

“We spent Easter at Tregasso Barn with some friends and our respective dogs. We loved how tucked away the property was and how much space there was for us – and for the animals! – to relax in. The weather was wet and windy for most of our stay, but the house was cosy and felt so solid and sheltered, even in the gales! We made the most of the bad weather with lots of tea and long dinners in the kitchen diner, which had all the kitchen gear we needed to cook our Easter-inspired roast lamb and foraged cockles from the Helford River nearby. We also enjoyed playing several of the board games that came with the house. Our dogs loved chasing each other in the huge grounds, and we walked down the path to the beach with them when the rain stopped, which was beautiful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the house and location!”

“I can’t recommend this place more highly. The perfect place to relax in nature. There’s plenty of room in the house to find a quiet place to read a book or wander in the extensive gardens with views out to the countryside. It worked brilliantly for hosting big groups and the kids could go into their own part of the house when they woke up early so as not to wake up the adults. A short wander down the hill takes you to a beautiful quiet beach where our toddlers were happy to play all day long. Plenty of places nearby to explore such as Trebah Gardens. It feels tropical here with giant hydrangeas lining the paths and the gardens are stunning! The house is very well designed, so you can relax and get on with your holiday – BBQs on the terrace, a fire pit with views for later in the evening, a wash area for sea/ sandy clothing – the hosts have thought of it all!”

“I can’t say enough about this idyllic home with manicured gardens and spectacular surrounding views! The house itself is spacious, tastefully decorated, and stocked with all the comforts of a perfect vacation. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, we felt perfectly at home as soon as we arrived. We were particularly impressed by the spacious terrace, from which we could enjoy the spectacular sunshine, and tranquil evening meals when the evenings were warm. Our morning stroll down to the beach (sand and shale) was the perfect way to start our relaxing days. There were some fabulous day trips to quirky villages and delicious restaurants close by (don’t miss out on the gourmet ice cream). All in all a perfect holiday for those seeking rest and relaxation. We will be back!!”

“Our extended family gathered at the tail-end of summer for a week together at Tregasso Barn, and we had the best time! The house is gorgeous and well-appointed: lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, beautiful seating areas for long chats over tea or champagne (with plenty of space to withdraw for a nap or to work or read) and a stunning chef’s kitchen. We loved walking down to the beach, doing day trips to nearby towns, and most of all, popping out to nab local delicacies like Cornish pasties, scones with clotted cream, ice cream, and fresh seafood (we made a particularly fine monkfish stew one night)! Oh, and I highly recommend using the recommended caterers at least once – it was such a treat to sit in “our own home” and have one delicious course after another served up. Truly a magical vacation, and we will be back for sure!”
