From the fresh air to the beautiful scenery, Tregasso Barn’s location could not be more idyllic. With stunning walks right from the front door, it’s easy to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall.

Space for everyone

Tregasso Barn has plenty of living space for everyone, with a huge kitchen/diner, two lounges, a library and more. Outside there are extensive grounds and several patios for al fresco dining and sunbathing.

Beach Life

Just 400m away, the lovely local beach at Gillan Cove is a short stroll down a shady private lane. You’ll find calm, clean waters, perfect for swimming, watersports, boating and beachcombing.

Peace and Quiet

It is perfectly peaceful and so quiet here. The house is nestled gently in the landscape, which affords it great protection from the elements. Rest assured it’s also really private, with no neighbours overlooking the property.

FAQs

How do I book my stay?

All of our bookings are handled by the fantastic team at St Anthony Holiday Cottages. They are a brilliant local firm who really look after our guests well. Please contact them directly, or drop us a line and we’ll make the introduction.

Will I need a car?

We’d advise having a car because Tregasso Barn is quite remote – a small price to pay for the heavenly peace and quiet. You could make use of local taxis and grocery deliveries, so if you don’t drive you will be just fine. But a car would be helpful and will make it easier to explore the area’s attractions.

Is it good for kids?

It sure is. Kids will love the spacious house to play in, and the ready supply of books, games and toys in the library. Your little bundles of energy can go wild in the garden, with 6.5 acres to explore. Smaller ones might prefer the courtyard garden, which is enclosed and has a little flat lawn to toddle around in. Gillan Beach is just what kids need for their own “Swallows & Amazons” experience. The calm waters are perfect for safe swimming, SUPs and dinghy sailing (you can rent craft from SailAway in St Anthony, across the creek). And don’t forget to bring a bucket and spade!

Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved furry friends are always welcome – by prior arrangement. It’s a paradise for walkies, with the garden, private meadow, footpaths and beach all on the menu. A few extra house rules and a cleaning fee applies.
